MK Drains offer a quick and efficient underground drainage tracing service.

Using the latest Radiodetection Cat, Genny and Sonde we are able to trace drainage across even the roughest terrain.

Drain locating can be a standalone service, or can be used in conjunction with one of our CCTV inspection units; inspecting the condition of the pipe at the same time as the locating is being undertaken.

 

LOCATING A DRAIN

One of the main issues is locating the drain and where it’s situated beneath the ground.

By using a multiple frequency digital locator (comprising of a transmitter and receiver), we can detect and trace a drain with precision and accuracy.

It also allows us to define complex locating issues in confused situations and give us accurate depth readings.

The SONDE can also be used in tandem with a video camera to enable visual inspection for finding bends, connections or defects within the drain system. It can easily separate pipes and cables in close proximity to the area allowing us to pinpoint the fault.
